Anhydrous or Monohydrate. White crystal or granular, odourless, absorbtion of moisture. Relative density 2.564. Easily soluble in water (51g/100ml, 25oc). Insoluble in enthanol. The pH value of 1% water is 11.5

As phosphorus-potassium fertilizer, water softener; In refining gasoline; In liquid soap; As pharmaceutic aid, Food additive, emulsifier, flavoring agent; In meat treatment.
